Yet when developing a new program, it’s important to ground the work in your mission, vision, values, and community—while also ensuring you have a funding plan in place.

My offerings include:

  • Conversations with organization leaders and key stakeholders to develop an organizing framework for the program.

  • Surveys and community focus groups to gather constituent input.

  • An outline of the program, including goals, activities, timeline, and milestones.

  • Boilerplate language about the program for casemaking.

  • A preliminary programmatic budget to help identify your funding needs.

  • A list of funder prospects for the program.

Why work with me?

I have more than 10 years of experience working in program development. I’ve both led and participated on project teams that created touring and residency programs for the rural Midwest, among others. I’ve also developed and run an application-based award program, giving me deep insight into program design and execution. 

I’ve crafted budgets for dozens of new programs, ensuring that all costs are accounted for and helping teams understand the concrete numbers. I’ve also worked with teams to identify funding prospects, ensuring that we aren’t sacrificing the organization’s mission and goals to meet a funder’s requirements.

Pricing

My offerings can be combined into robust packages or engaged piecemeal. 

I always strive for transparency in my work, timelines, and pricing, so there are no surprises.

  • For seasonal needs or time-bound capacity crunches, I offer services on an hourly basis.

    Rates begin at $120/hour.

  • For ongoing needs throughout the year, I offer services at a set price for a bundle of hours. These partnerships allow me to develop a deeper understanding of your organization.

    Rates start at $2,000/month for up to 20 hours/month.

  • For large, complex, time-bound projects, I’ll work with you to determine an agreed-upon project scope and defined deliverables.

    Rate varies depending on project.
